Welcome to Deeper Roots Foundation
DRF is a Veteran owned 501c3 Non Profit established in January 2023. Our mission is to provide faith based healing opportunities to Veterans and other trauma survivors while supporting rewilding efforts in South Africa.

DRF has two principal programs:

SOS Soldiers on Safari

SOS is a 10-day program that takes place in Limpopo, South Africa, where wildlife conservation and rewilding surround healing, self-identity, team building, and photography. The final question is Who am I?

Rhino Regiment

RR provides leadership, advising, training and embedding combat veterans with volunteer anti poaching individuals protecting endangered species to include apex predators.

This unique journey blends wildlife conservation efforts with personal renewal, offering participants a path toward healing through service, reflection, and deep connection with nature. As they help protect endangered species and support local conservation initiatives, they rediscover meaning, resilience, and the strength to grow beyond trauma.
