Welcome to Deeper Roots Foundation
At Deeper Roots Foundation, we believe true healing begins with connection to purpose, to nature, and to one another. Through our Soldiers on Safari program, we create life-changing experiences for veterans, first responders and other trauma survivors. by immersing them in the heart of Africa’s wild landscapes.
This unique journey blends wildlife conservation efforts with personal renewal, offering participants a path toward healing through service, reflection, and deep connection with nature. As they help protect endangered species and support local conservation initiatives, they rediscover meaning, resilience, and the strength to grow beyond trauma.
Together, we’re building a future where people and wildlife thrive—rooted in purpose, grounded in healing.
Our mission is to :
• Healing opportunities for trauma survivors, including veterans and first responders, through our Soldiers on Safari program, using wildlife photography, counseling, and faith-based mentorship as pathways to recovery and purpose.
• Protect endangered wildlife and vast landscapes by equipping and training anti-poaching teams, volunteer firefighters, and conservationists.
• Serve remote communities in Limpopo by providing medical, dental, and emergency response resources to those in need.
By fostering faith, resilience, and stewardship, we strive to create lasting impact, ensuring that both people and wildlife thrive together.
